What are the Repertoire Utilities? The Repertoire Utilities are special add-on programs to enable you to import and export your information in the Repertoire Music Cataloguing system. A description of each utility is below. All of the utilities are priced at AUD$75 each (approximately US$60/GBP£35), but for a limited time, if you purchase any 2 utilities, you will receive the 3rd for free! You can download the utilities and try them for yourself. The output from unregistered utilities is restricted, and registration requires a single Repertoire 2000 licence. To go to the Repertoire download page, CLICK HERE. Repertoire Convert UtilityThe Repertoire Conversion Utility allows you to convert data from other systems into the format required by the Repertoire Music Cataloguing System. Through a simple series of prompts, you can quickly and easily transform any dBase III, FoxPro or ASCII Delimited Files directly into Repertoire 2000 format. The program will save your settings for each conversion, and so long as the format of the file to convert does not change, you will not need to re-enter the configuration each time you start. For full functionality of the program, you must purchase a license, and your copy of Repertoire 2000 must also be licensed. Without this, you will be restricted to the conversion of the first 50 records. The Repertoire Web Utility allows you to convert any Repertoire catalogue directly into Hypertext Markup Language (or HTML), the language of the World Wide Web. This will allow you to quickly and easily publish your information on the Internet. No knowledge of HTML is necessary, nor are any HTML editors (although they can be used). You will only require a Web Browser that supports frames (such as Netscape or Explorer versions 3 or later). The way the information is displayed is completely user-defined, and very flexible. You can include images, and backgrounds, and all text may be formatted according to your needs. If your catalogue contains sounds files and/or composer photos, these may also be included in your web site, so long as they are in the appropriate format. The program will save your settings for each session, and so you not need to re-enter the configuration each time you start. This also allows you to quickly change the look of the catalogue every time you update the data so that your on-line audience can appreciate the currency of the information. For full functionality of the program, you must purchase a license, and your copy of Repertoire 2000 must also be licensed. Without this, you will be restricted to the convert the first 50 entries. To see an example of the output from the Repertoire to Web Utility, click HERE The Repertoire Combine Utility allows you to combine multiple Repertoire files into 1 single Repertoire catalogue. The utility can also be used to quickly eliminate publishers/distributors and composers from a single Repertoire catalogue. The utility allows you to create composer exceptions to allow for different spellings of composers, or to omit certain composers that are not relevant. You can also exclude certain publishers/distributors from the resulting catalogue. The program will save your settings for each session, and so you not need to re-enter the configuration each time you start. For full functionality of the program, you must purchase a license, and your copy of Repertoire 2000 must also be licensed. Without this, you will be restricted to the combination of 2 catalogues. |
